Awkwafina was an American actor and musician who started her career through clever raps that tackled gender and ethnic identities from a the most comical of perspectives. Then she branched out to Hollywood. Nora Lum began her musical journey as a trumpet player. Her birthplace was Forest Hills Queens, she was the child of Chinese immigrants as well as Korean immigrants. Then, she started hip-hop and classical training.
